Twist Mittens Light Edition
Twist Mittens Light Edition are worked top down. Stitches for the thumb are placed on hold while working. The mitten’s top is shaped with decreases on both sides and the remaining stitches are pulled together. The Twist edge is worked by knitting a tube, which is sewn together and then attached to the mitten. The difference between these mittens and the Felted Twist Mittens is that you work with a lighter yarn quality and that you don’t felt them in the washing machine afterwards. As a result, you get lighter and not so dense mittens that won’t keep your hands very warm.
Yarn: Finull by Rauma.
Amount of yarn: 2 skeins in all sizes.
Sizes: S (M) L.
Measurements: Length (measured from highest point on the back to thumb’s top): approx. 22 (23) 24 cm. Width: approx. 9 cm (9,5 cm) 10 cm.
Gauge: 28 stitches in stockinette stitch = 10 cm.
Recommended needles: Dpns 3 mm. Remember that the needle size is just a recommendation. Knit a gauge swatch first!
