Amount of yarn: 1-2 skeins of yarn 1 and 1 skein of yarn 2. The amount of yarn depends on which yarn you choose as well as the structure and size you knit. Each headband has only been test knitted with one yarn alternative. To be completely sure that you have enough yarn, it is recommended to buy an additional skein of yarn 1. For further information, see the amount of yarn for each individual instruction.
Recommended needles: Double pointed needles 3,5 mm or circular needle 3,5 mm (25 cm).
Gauge: The gauge depends on the different structures and the yarn that you choose for your headband. The stated gauge for each individual headband only applies when you knit the same structure and with the same yarn.
Sizes: Child (52-54cm): Width approx. 9 cm. Length approx. 45 cm. Teen (54-56cm): Width approx. 10 cm. Length approx. 47 cm. Woman (56-59cm): Width approx. 11 cm. Length approx. 50 cm.
#1 STOCKINETTE STITCH
Yarn: (1) Baby Ull (Lys Denim 8523) held with (2) Kidsilk Erle (Lys Denim 9040) from Dale Garn.
Amount of yarn: 1 skein/quality (for each size).
Gauge: 24 sts in stockinette stitch = 10 cm.Recommended needles: Double pointed needles 3,5mm or circular needle 3,5mm (25cm).
#2 MOSS STITCH
Yarn: (1) Alpaca 2 (E3S) held with (2) Silk Mohair (3S) from Isager.
Amount of yarn: 1 skein/quality (for each size).
Gauge: 24 sts in moss stitch = 10 cm.Recommended needles: Double pointed needles 3,5 mm or circular needle 3,5 mm (25 cm).
#3 BROKEN RIB
Yarn: (1) Merino (Sennep) held with (2) Soft Silk Mohair (Mørk Sennep) from Knitting for Olive.
Amount of yarn: 1 skein/quality (for each size).
Gauge: 26 sts in broken rib = 10 cm.Recommended needles: Double pointed needles 3,5 mm or circular needle 3,5 mm (25 cm).
#4 RIB STITCH

#6 SAILOR BOBBLE STITCH
