Raspberry Bolero
The Raspberry Bolero is a short and airy bolero worked from one sleeve to the other. The beautiful raspberry structure of the bolero makes it a perfect companion for flowered summer dresses.
Yarn: Puno and Iris by Rauma or Air and Melody by Drops.
Sizes: XS/S (M) L/XL.
Measurements: Chest circumference is 102 (114) 126 cm. Sleeve width is 30 (35) 40 cm.
Amount of yarn: Rauma: Puno 5 (6) 7 skeins and Iris 4 (5) 6 skeins. Yarn alternative (not tested): Drops: Air 4 (5) 6 skeins and Melody 4 (5) 6 skeins. For a couple of test knitters, the sleeves of the bolero were too short and informed me that they would knit them a few inches longer next time. Keep in mind that the amount of yarn will change if the measurements given are altered. Also keep in mind that the bolero will get a little longer when worn.
Recommended needles: Circular needle 7 mm (30 cm) or dpns 7 mm. Circular needle 9 mm (40 and 60 cm).
Gauge: 12 sts in raspberry pattern = 10 cm.
