Curly Wurly Twist

Curly Wurly Twist is a double folded headband that is guaranteed to keep your ears warm in winter. It is worked as a tube and sewn together at the end to shape the twist. The difference between this version and the original is that a bouclé yarn has been used here, giving the headband a curly look. Also, the stitch gauge is not the same. The construction and sewing are identical.
 
Yarn: Pillpi from Rauma or Alpaca Boulcé from Drops. 
Amount of yarn: 1 skein (per alternative). 
Sizes: Head circumference: 52-54 cm (54-56 cm) 57-59 cm. Width: Approx. 9 cm (10 cm) 11 cm. 
Recommended needles: Double pointed needles 4 mm or circular needle 4 mm (25 cm). 
Gauge: 18 sts in stockinette stitch on needle 4 mm = 10 cm.
